Delete your SwiftGuard account
You can delete your account yourself in the app. This page is the account-deletion URL for Google Play.
Delete in the app
- Open the SwiftGuard app and sign in.
- Tap Profile (your photo or initials).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- On the confirmation, tap Delete. Your account is removed and you are signed out.
The app warns: this removes your SwiftGuard account. You will need to register again to use the app.
If you cannot open the app
Email support@swiftguard.app from the email or phone number on the account. Ask us to delete the account. We will confirm when it is done.
What is deleted
Deleting your account signs you out, marks the account deleted, and removes it from normal use in SwiftGuard. Your phone number is replaced so it cannot be used to sign in again. Profile details, push tokens, and login sessions for that account are no longer available in the app.
What may remain
SOS alerts, photos, location points, and notifications that other people already received may stay as part of that emergency record. This is so people who helped you still have the history of an alert they already saw. See the privacy policy for more detail.
